This year, Rav Shai is overseeing a wide-ranging exploration of the concept of “awe”— what it is, how we experience it, and the effect it can have on our lives. We will explore the topic from four viewpoints: natural (already experienced at the Holodec in December),  musical, artistic, and the written word. There is a cost of $18 for each program.

With an eye on awe, we’ll be inspired by the masterpieces and maquettes of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin at the Rodin Museum. We will also find out why Rodin worked on his “Gates of Hell” for 37 years and learn which famous artists were inspired by him.
