Join us and learn about the fascinating and fragrant history of Jews and spices from noted chef, cookbook author, and culinary tour leader, Aliza Green, at Adath Jeshurun.
Green will speak about the Jewish history of spices, create a display of exotic spices, and provide a tasting of spice-focused Jewish dishes all suitable for Passover. The cost is $18 per person in advance (until March 26); and $36 per person at the door. The fee includes a set of the afternoon’s recipes! Cookbooks by the author will be available for purchase. Green has just appeared as guest chef on the FOOD NETWORK’s “Throwdown with Bobby Flay”! The author of more than a dozen cookbooks including Field Guide to Herbs & Spices and The Magic of Spice Blends. Her newest book, Starting with Ingredients: 100 Delicious Ways to Make Use of What You’ve Got, will be published in early June 2020.
