4:30 PM - 6:00 PMWe’ll celebrate the Jewish history of chocolate with love and an illustrated talk and recipe demo from Chef-Author Aliza Green. Learn about the surprising history of the Sephardim who first brought chocolate from the New World to Old World places like Antwerp, Belgium; Bayonne, France; and Livorno, Italy. Green will demonstrate how to make a moist, rich Dark Chocolate Bundt Cake with Whiskey-Soaked Figs along with Cinnamon-Orange Scented Hot Chocolate, a perfect cold weather treat perhaps spiked with rum.
