Hasidism was the reform movement of Eastern Europe that remained within the halakhic framework. They flipped medieval Kabbalah on its head and made it accessible to the masses of Jews who were not part of the intellectual elites studying Talmud and halakhah. This Sunday series taught by Rav Shai will look at the origins, tenets, and personalities of several Hasidic masters.
