400 Days of Torture: A Vigil for the Kidnapped
11/07/2024 10:06:51 AM
Event
This Sunday (November 10), we will gather at the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum to honor the kidnapped who have endured *400 days of unimaginable suffering*—living underground in inhumane conditions, facing violence, starvation, and constant fear. *For 101 minutes*, we will stand or sit in solidarity, holding posters of those still held captive, *forming the shape of "400" to signify the days they've endured in hell*. It is critical that we continue to remember and advocate for our brothers and sisters. Let us show our solidarity and ensure they are not forgotten! This event will be held in parallel with the gathering in Washington, D.C. If you are unable to join there, we urge you to come stand with us here. *Please arrive at 9:55 a.m. as we will begin precisely at 10:07 a.m.* *Requested Attire*: If possible, wear a white shirt to symbolize hope and unity.
