Join the AJMA for a participatory service we’re calling Hearing Men’s Voices in Prayer! All congregants are invited to join with the AJMA for this joyous, vocal, and instrumental, participatory service followed by lite bites. The service begins at 6:15 PM.
A shout-out to all AJ men who are eager to participate with their voices and/or musical instruments. Informational meetings scheduled for Monday, March 25 and Thursday, March 28, following evening minyan and then, rehearsals scheduled for Sunday, March 31 at 10:00 AM, Monday evening, April 1, and Thursday evening, April 4.
The AJ Men's Association will present a one-act play reading by two AJMA actors. "The Interview" is a suspenseful work which explores the lingering trauma of the Holocaust in a post-World War II American setting. Discussion and light refreshments to follow the performance. No RSVP or charge for the program. The program will begin at 2:00 PM; it is vitally important that members of the audience arrive promptly for this program. A limited number of Yom HaShoah yellow candles will be available for purchase.
Hearing Men's Voices: What Kind of Man are You?… What Kind of Man Do You Aspire to Be? A facilitated, structured, and absolutely confidential discussion among AJ men exploring our place in a changing world. In AJ's Library; light refreshments to follow the program. Sam Rosenberg has been chosen as the AJ's Man of the Year! He will be honored at the Man of the Year Dinner at Temple Beth Hillel Beth El in Wynnewood, PA. Event begins at 4:30 PM.
