SINAI PROGRAM

with this philosophy we have a class specifically designed for identified
youngsters with mild to moderate delays in language development, attention
and/or motor skills. Our class is for 3 1/2 - 5 1/2 year olds. This
self-contained class meets 5 mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This program will
provide:

 Individualized instruction
with appropriate resources to accommodate each child's needs- Includes participation of
specialists (speech, language, physical therapy, and/or occupational
therapy) as established by parents
- A caring environment that
promotes mutual respect among parents, staff and children
- Our special education
teacher and pre-school teacher combine their efforts and resources
- Extra-curricular activities
for all children
- Meaningful relationships
and long-lasting friendships
In the afternoons,
these pre-schoolers have the option of mainstreaming into our typical
classes when they are able and ready. To effectively establish the
afternoon experience, additional services may be necessary (at an
additional cost to the parents). The afternoon classes provide enough
flexibility to ensure effective transition to the inclusion model.
