(Pre-School - Adom & Kindergarten) Back To Pre-School (Adom) Mondays: The focus is an extended enrichment of activities to the morning themes plus an introduction to words of different languages. A simple and enjoyable introduction to these languages is a great way to help the children develop an appreciation of language. Tuesdays: The children experience the best of all possible things to do and see in the best of all cultures...as they "go" around the world! In this "Kinder Culture Club" our children hear the language, bake the country's specialty, plus much, much, much more. Mexico, France, Japan are just a few of the countries we will discover together. Wednesdays: Cooking Club adventures... Every week the children create new recipes or try a "Grandmom's" known one using spatulas, mixing bowls, measuring cups, beaters and an enthusiasm with an appetite that won't make it home. The children ravenously devour their delicious creations however their experience charts tell their parents all about what they cooked or baked. Thursdays: Actors, Actresses, Mathematicians or "Super Future Scientists". Our children spend time cycling every few weeks between drama, science and math learning stories and acting them out, math and discovering the ins and outs or experimenting and examining such ideas as the light, the sun and the weather. An experience chart is written for all. This hands-on day always proves itself to be a very popular one! Fridays: A very special day, especially the A.J. way. In preparation for Shabbat our children live the Torah! They combine their creative energies to perform and re-enact Bible stories. Please visit the website for Congregation Adath Jeshurun
