During our camp program we offer an optional lunch program for the children for an additional cost. If you choose to send a lunch with your child, please follow the standard AJ preschool and Infant Center lunch policy of packing a cold, dairy and nut-free lunch with your child. Below is a sample of our “tried and true” Hot Lunch menu that the kids love!
- Monday - Bagels w/cream cheese, yogurt, fruit & apple juice.
- Tuesday - French Toast sticks w/syrup, hard boiled egg, fruit & apple juice.
- Wednesday - Pasta, carrots & peas, fruit & apple juice.
- Thursday - Fish Sticks, French Fries, applesauce & lemonade.
- Friday - Pizza, fruit & lemonade.
A snack will be provided each morning and afternoon. Snacks will include fruits, vegetables, or crackers and a drink. Water will be available for the children throughout the day.
Our sports program will emphasize growing self-esteem, skill development and games. Our younger children will loosen their limbs and improve their coordination with hoola-hoops, parachutes, Nerf ball activities, musical gym games and beginner team sports. The older campers will be working their muscles while learning fundamentals of T-ball, soccer, basketball and Newcomb. They will also have fun with beach balls, hoola hoops, jump ropes and parachutes. And that is only the beginning!
Campers are scheduled to have swim instruction in our beautiful, above ground swimming pool as long as they are completely toilet trained. With the counselors by your child’s side, the certified swim instructors will be teaching the children fundamentals of water safety and swimming skills. For those children not toilet trained, we will have daily-supervised swimming in the wading pools located on our beautiful and airy safety-surfaced patio.
Pre Shabbat Celebration
Every Friday we will be having our Pre Shabbat program and camp kumsitz (sing-a-long).
Each week our campers enjoy an array of special activites designed to stretch their young minds. These include library, art, movement, science, cooking and creative games.
Each week is designed around special themes and activities involving the whole camp. During the camp season, you will receive notices about our upcoming camp activities, as well as a review of the past week.

Each summer we have a variety of special programs and events. Here is a sample of previous events that have occurred during camp: Shabbat with Michelle Bernstein, Puppet Pizzazz, Maccabee Games, Elkins Park Library, Camp Carnival, Safari Assembly, and our Camp Show
We offer flexible scheduling of 10 weeks with lots of fun filled and exciting programming all summer long! The camp is open from 7:30-6, Monday through Friday.
Our options are as follows:
- Camp Half Day: 9:00-12:30
- Camp Full Day: 9:00-3:30
- Early Care: 7:30-9:00am
Late Care: 3:30-6:00pm
Camp Kitov Now Accepting Enrollment for the 2012 Camp Session! Register by Feb. 8, 2012, and receive 2011 camp tuition rates.
