HEAR, O ISRAEL:
THE LORD
OUR GOD,

IS ONE.

One is our God. Great is our Lord.
Holy and revered is his name.
Hazzan
Proclaim with me the greatness of the Lord,
and let us exalt his name together.
Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory
and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and on the earth
is thine. Thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art supreme over
all. Exalt the Lord and bow down at his footstool. Holy is he. Exalt
ye the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mount, for the Lord
our God is holy.
The Torah is raised on high
This is the Torah which Moses placed before the Children of
Israel. At the command of the Lord they rested, at the command of
the Lord they journeyed; the behest of the Lord they kept, according
to the command of the Lord through Moses. And you who
cleave to the Lord your God are alive all of you this day. Blessed is
he, who in his holiness gave the Torah to his people Israel.
